Star Academy 2024: Ulysse embarrassed by Marine's behavior ? He says it loud and clear, “towards my girlfriend…”

Ulysse confided in the columns of Femme Actuelle this Tuesday, January 21. The candidate of the Star Academy returned to his relationship with Marine, whose behavior has been much commented on.

A few months ago, Ulysses entered the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys. The candidate had only one dream: to become a singer. Eliminated at the gates of the semi-final, the young man left behind his comrades and in particular Marine, to whom he was very close. If Internet users imagined that the young woman had feelings for the academic, the latter made it known from the start that he was in a relationship. However, Marine never stopped to tease him, to the point that some imagine that the two friends could have formed a couple if Ulysses had been single. But what is really the case ?

In the columns of Femme ActuelleThis Tuesday, January 21, Ulysse agreed to make some confidences about his friendship with Marine. During the adventure, he had notably confided to be uncomfortable with the idea of ​​singing, once again, a love song with the young woman. “It was an accumulation, an overflow” , affirmed Ulysses.  “Not necessarily the fact of singing a love song but in fact it was the whole scene as a married couple that posed a problem”, he continued afterwards. A scene that had greatly pleased the public but which had been very embarrassing for Ulysses since he had not dared look Marine in the eyes.

Ulysse: “It bothered me”

Ulysses never hid the fact that he was in a relationship and in love with Lily, his girlfriend. Thus, the academic revealed that he felt uncomfortable sometimes. “With my girlfriend, it embarrassed me”, he openly confided, later specifying:  “I put myself in her shoes and I told myself that if it was her, it would piss me off.” The young man also indicated that he had a lot of trouble remaining professional at times since acting was not his strong point. Pretending to be in love with Marine was not what he wanted. 

Ulysse and Marine were very close in the castle and the candidate claims to have a lot of affection for the young woman. “It's true that we always had this relationship where we would attack each other” , he explained, then specifying: “In fact, I really behaved with Marine like I did with my little sister when I was younger.” However, towards the end of his adventure, Ulysses wanted to take a little distance. “In fact, Marine is still very energy-consuming, very clingy…”, he said.

Ulysse: an introvert who “needed to breathe”

From the start of the show, Ulysse appeared to be quite a introverted and anxious. The young man made it known and he had the habit of isolating himself when he wanted to recharge his batteries. This earned him the nickname of bitter but he preferred to have fun with it. For her part, Marine is a young woman with boundless energy and this sometimes bothered her comrade. “It was the holiday season, it was an accumulation of a lot of things”,  indicated Ulysse before concluding: “I needed to breathe”.  While he admits to having found Marine sometimes clingy, the candidate appreciates the time he spent in her company.
