This Thursday, January 9, 2025, the Paris prosecutor's office requested an 18-month suspended prison sentence and a 10,000 euro fine against St&eacutephane Plaza prosecuted for domestic violence against two of his former partners. “Mr. Plaza is accused of having struck, denigrated, publicly humiliated, twisted fingers so hard that some were dislocated, and bitten,” indicated the prosecutor in requesting this sentence.

“We must remember today who is the victim and who is the aggressor, not to make the couple a lawless zone. Mr. Plaza made a choice: that of violence to impose his will within the couple,” she declared.

The real estate agent denies the accusations of violence. Moreover, his lawyers have submitted in the file intimate videos of Amandine, one of the complainants. Proof, according to Stéphane Plaza's defense, that she was not subjected to any violence. The young woman's lawyer, Me Benjamin Chouai, was outraged: Mr. Plaza's defense fait “revenge porn and it's criminal,” he said.

Among the mistreatment reported, Amandine remembers a trip to Morocco, during which the host allegedly made degrading and humiliating remarks. He allegedly told a hotel employee: “I brought you a woman, I'm not joking, take her, it's your gift”. For Stéphane Plaza, this remark was a “joke”. “With hindsight and changed mentalities, maybe I wouldn't do it again.”

“I had a hard time getting out of all that”

To defend himself, the host says: “I didn't put her down, I took her everywhere! For me, women are the most beautiful thing.” The young woman then clarified that Stéphane Plaza was not violent all the time: “He oscillated: he took care of me, but that could change in 48 hours and everything collapsed”, she indicated, explaining also having lived in “fear”.

“Why not have stopped this relationship ? It lasted five years”, the president then asks. To which Amandine replies: “I was in love, I worked for him, we lived in his apartment. And there were times when things were better. So, I had a hard time getting away from all that”.
