Stéphane Plaza will be fixed. Accused of domestic violence by two ex-partners, the M6 host appears this Thursday, January 9 before the Paris Criminal Court. He is being tried for “habitual physical and/or psychological violence by a partner” between 2018 and 2022 against Amandine, and for “habitual psychological violence” against Paola. Arrived in poor shape, Stéphane Plaza defended himself against the charges against him.
According to journalists on the scene, Stéphane Plaza was particularly agitated in court. “He is very agitated in court. He mimes and replays the scene. He makes a lot of gestures to contest the facts”, reported Vincent Vantighem, a journalist at BFMTV. In the dock, the host seemed “stunned, a bit like a rabbit caught in the headlights”. In court, he defended himself against the accusations with disturbing arguments.

I'm dyspraxic, I'm clumsy andI don't control my movements, I often hurt myself. It was accidental. But I didn't pin her against the wall”, assured Stéphane Plaza in court. The President, surprised by this argument, asked him to explain this disorder.
Stéphane Plaza assured that he had already “broken a finger saying hello”. Because of dyspraxia, he said, “you don't know how to tie your shoelaces”. “I don't always control my strength, I have already injured people on film sets who don't work with me. I have often injured myself. I have had 19 leg operations”, he added at the bar. Stéphane Plaza explained that his disorder increased “the risks”.
During her testimony, one of his alleged victims recounted an episode of violence. “He was physically on top of me more and more, I could feel his spittle on my face, I put my hands in front of my chest, he took my arm and slapped it with a big blow. I screamed in pain, he continued. I completely lost interest, I was in a lot of pain, he didn't want to come out”, she said.
After deliberation, the court decided to rule on the requests for nullity filed by Stéphane Plaza's lawyers at the same time as the decision on the merits, which will be rendered on “Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 1:30 p.m.”. If the host is found guilty, he risks up to 10 years in prison and a fine of 150,000 euros. In the meantime, he remains presumed innocent of the facts of which he is accused.
