During this month of February, students will receive a new prepaid and dematerialized card to buy their meals. How much is the financial aid paid and who is concerned ?
Announced at the end of November 2024, this financial aid is part of the Lévi law of April 13, 2023, which aims to promote access for all students to a moderately priced catering offer.
It is awarded by the National Center for University and School Works (Cnous), which must complement the action provided by the Crous network.
Any student living in a “white zone” is concerned. That is, any student whose place of education is located more than 20 minutes on foot or by transport from a university or contracted restaurant.
If you meet these conditions, you will shortly receive an email of the Crous, the Ministry of Higher Education told the Parisien.
After having established a list of higher education establishments located in white zones, the academy rectors have sent a list of students eligible for financial aid to the Crous.
