A man was found dead shortly after 8 a.m. Friday morning on a sidewalk in downtown Montreal.
Approximately 90 minutes after the discovery of the body, the Montreal Police Service (SPVM) remained unable to determine the cause of death.
The hypotheses of a homicide or a fall on the sidewalk were evaluated and the police limited to evoking a suspicious death.
It was a call transmitted to the 911 emergency telephone exchange which led the SPVM police officers to go to the man who was lying on the ground on Stanley Street, south of the boulevard. René-Lévesque Ouest.
Upon their arrival, the unfortunate man was pronounced dead.
