TGV tickets for 2025 at the best price are coming, SNCF announces the date

SNCF TICKET. SNCF has just announced the opening of TGV and Intercité ticket sales for next year, pushing it to July 2025 for the busiest lines.

If you want to get ahead of your train travel in 2025, after the end-of-year holiday period, don't delay in booking your trips and buying your tickets on the SNCF website or at the ticket office. The railway company will open its sales on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 for the entire period from January 9 to March 30, 2025. As every year, certain journeys are offered at preferential rates for the period, but prices promise to skyrocket very quickly with extremely high demand on holiday dates.

Unprecedented, the SNCF announces that it will experiment for the first time on this date with the opening of ticket sales for TGV journeys between Paris-Lyon, Paris-Marseille and Paris-Montpellier over the next 6 months (compared to the usual 4), i.e. from January 9 to July 4, 2025! For journeys between Paris and Lyon, the Saint-Étienne-Châteaucreux station is also concerned by the offer, for journeys between Lyon and Marseille, this includes services to Nice Ville, Toulon and Hyères. As for the Paris-Montpellier, the journey also includes the city of Perpignan. 

&From this date, future skiers will finally be able to get train tickets to board the TGVs that will take them to the French mountains. The SNCF has announced that it is strengthening its TGV service destination of Bourg Saint-Maurice, Saint-Gervais, Chambéry, Grenoble, Saint-Dié-des-Vosges and Frasnes among others, and Intercités to destination of the Massif Central (Paris-Clermont-Ferrand or Paris-Aurillac), the Alps (Paris-Briançon) and the Pyrenees (Paris-Tarbes and Paris-Latour de Carol).

To take the train at the best price for your winter or Easter vacation, it's best to be warned: first come, first served… So go to the SNCF Connect websites and apps, in stations, shops and in SNCF-approved agencies on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.
