Since Monday, January 6, 2025, Air France has become a travel agency. We explain the new offer from the French company.

200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000

More and more people want to buy a ticket for a flight but also the accommodation for their trip from a single organization. Several airlines already offered this type of service such as EasyJet, Turkish Airlines or Qatar Airways… Air France has also been on the list since Monday.

A widening offer

Indeed, Air France has extended flight + hotel bookings to all of its customers, a service that had been tested since 2017 and reserved exclusively for its premium customers. This service is called “Air France Holidays” and it is already possible to book multiple destinations on the site.

If the airline decided to become a travel agency, it is not for nothing. The aim is to be part of a growing trend where airlines are diversifying their activities” and “to meet the needs of travellers by offering comprehensive services”, says RTL.

Billions

Air France decided to take this initiative because of a very competitive market and because the other major airlines were already offering such services. It is therefore an alignment with the competition. A market that would exceed one hundred billion, according to Euromonitor, quoted by the radio.

According to Le Parisien, Air France is seeking to “double its results related to this offer in 2025 and multiply these profits by six by 2029” while strengthening its competitiveness. The fact of changing from an airline to a real travel agency also allows it to expand its customer base as much as possible.
