Le Manifeste et le collectif Émile-Borel appellent dans le même temps la population à manifester à 9 heures devant l’hôpital.

Didier Jaffre, Director General of the Occitanie Regional Health Agency (ARS), is coming to Saint-Affrique tomorrow for a “new time for discussions and consultation with stakeholders” of the hospital center, including the Émile-Borel collective, and all institutional decision-makers, elected officials of the territory and representatives of health stakeholders.

200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000

This is the announcement made by the ARS on December 21 in Saint-Affrique to reaffirm “the challenges and next steps of the future joint hospital of South Aveyron, as well as the intermediate organization methods of the provision of care in this territory.”

According to Mayor Sébastien David, also chairman of the hospital's supervisory board, the meeting will take place at 9:30 a.m. at the Richard-Sainct multipurpose space, with five to ten people from the Manifesto for the Defense of Hospitals and Maternity Units in South Aveyron and as many from the Émile-Borel collective. For its part, the Manifesto and the collective indicate that they are expecting Didier Jaffre on the same Monday, but at 9 a.m. at the hospital center. The two entities invite the population to come and demonstrate at the hospital.

“Dialogue expected”

Finally, where will the meeting take place? ? “The gathering of residents, caregivers (staff and doctors) and the mayor of Saint-Affrique has finally decided the director of the ARS to come and meet their representatives to answer the serious questions raised”, declare the Manifesto and the collective.

And to quote: “the reductions in reception capacities in medicine and geriatrics, in access to emergencies, the abandonment of promised renovations, the applicant doctors not hired, the doctors pushing them to leave, the difficulties in implementing reopening projects or new care when beds are available, the debt multiplied by five when the number of beds is divided by three, the number of directors multiplied by nine, the costs of the joint hospital which weigh on the finances of Saint-Affrique, so many questions on which a dialogue with the director of the ARS is expected.”

Furthermore, on Monday evening, at 8 p.m., at the Richard-Sainct multipurpose space, the mayor, the Manifesto and the collective are organizing a public meeting to report on the meeting with the director of the ARS, but also to “discuss upcoming mobilizations and dialogues.”
