Parc Astérix has realised that it has been the victim of fraudulent online sites since the Christmas period. Indeed, these are “mirror sites”, which means that they replicate the official website of the amusement park, but also its online ticket office to scam customers by giving them the impression of buying real tickets, according to our colleagues at Figaro.

The Oise park was warned by visitors who noticed the online scam. “A dozen mirror sites” have been identified, also imitating the name of the official website.

2024

In 2024, the Parc Astérix welcomed 2.8 million visitors, according to France Bleu.

Beware of the URL

The criminals left behind only simple typos that are barely visible if you don't really look at them. “The management called in its IT department, as well as that of the Compagnie des Alpes,” indicates the park's owner. An investigation is underway after a complaint was filed.

If you have any doubts, and to try to avoid this type of scam, simply look carefully at the URL before making any purchase. In this case, the correct URL is: parcasterix.fr. For the time being, it is difficult to count the number of visitors who may have been fooled by these web scammers.
