As the end-of-year holidays approach, the spirit of solidarity and conviviality is becoming more and more present. “Bringing people together”

Thierry Jacques, treasurer of the Vivre à Fontanilles association and the organizers emphasize that “this event is part of a complementary friendly approach between the two associations. One brings its expertise in organizing sporting events, while the other focuses on developing and implementing cultural activities and entertainment, with the common goal of bringing people together in a spirit of sharing and commitment.”

This tournament is a perfect opportunity to get together, have fun and create a great opportunity for young adults to share their passion, build relationships and have a good time together.

A trophy for the three best teams

The Futsal Cup Noël will take place on Friday, December 27, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., at the Piencourt municipal gymnasium in Mende. Teams will consist of five people, including a goalkeeper and two to three substitutes. Teams can be men's, women's or mixed.

Since sport and awards are closely linked, a trophy will be awarded to the three best teams. A souvenir of this tournament will be offered to each team. “Whether you are a player, spectator or simply curious, come and take part in this event which promises to be memorable! insists Thierry Jacques. I would like to thank, on behalf of the organizers, the Quartier prioritaire de la politique de la ville (QPV) scheme set up by the state, which enabled the financing of this initiative, as well as Intersport, our partner. This commitment to local projects is crucial and plays a determining role in the development of our neighborhood.”

Futsal Cup Noël, Friday, December 27, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Free. Open to members or non-members aged over 18. Refreshments on site. Registration with Roland Michel, on 04 66 31 63 05, (office hours) or with Edis and Ersen Kara.
