It is on Wednesday that the situation begins to get complicated with a rise in wind from the south. The former hurricane Leslie will approach, in fact, through Portugal. This will cause thunderstorms to the west and south. The north and east will still be spared and could even see some nice clearings.

This disturbance will become global on Thursday. According to the forecasts from Météo France, the day of October 17 will be very gloomy. It will rain almost everywhere, with risks of thunderstorms in the south. Only Corsica and the surroundings of Perpignan and Strasbourg could escape it. The east and Corsica will quickly be caught up by the disturbance on Friday morning, which will also continue in the rest of the country.

The weather is therefore still looking very depressing, despite the absence of cold. La Chaine Météo even calls for vigilance for Thursday in order to “monitor the risk of flooding”, even if this will have nothing to do with see with the rains caused last week by storm Kirk.
