Apple's first foldable iPad/MacBook has been delayed until 2027 or 2028
The device will now feature an 18.8" display instead of the previously rumored 20.3" display

This is not the first time that the rumor of a touch iPad has been mentioned on the Apple side. This information comes mainly from Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst specializing in in the leaks of information about Apple devices and who repeats again that the firm intends to first offer a foldable tablet before being interested in an iPhone of the same ilk. The analyst explains however that Apple seems quite mixed on the matter and can't really say whether it's an iPad or a foldable Macbook.

Foldable screen technology, however, seems to be a big headache for Apple. As Ming-Chi Kuo points out, the release of an Apple foldable device was previously expected for 2025. Faced with numerous technical issues, this release now seems to be pushed back to 2027 or 2028 at the earliest.
