The magic of Christmas in the villages of Gard Rhodanien this weekend, markets, entertainment and festive events on the program

In the Gard Rhodanien (here in Saint-Laurent-des-Arbres), municipalities and associations are organizing joyful events around Christmas, this weekend. Midi Libre – C. C.

A dozen municipalities in the territory are honoring creators, artisans and other events as part of Christmas markets this weekend of December 7 and 8.

It's time for the magic of Christmas… Montfaucon is organizing its Christmas market starting this Friday evening (6 p.m. to 10 p.m.), and throughout the weekend, until Monday, December 9 at the village hall. A fireworks display will be set off on Saturday at 9 p.m.

The association Les petites mains d'Augusta is organizing the Christmas market of Saint-Paul-les-Fonts Saturday, December 7, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the village. Charcuterie, wine and clothing will be offered for sale.

The village ofOrsanwelcomes exhibitors on Saturday, December 7, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the village hall. At the end of the day, a bodega will take place from 7:30 p.m., followed by a fireworks display that should light up the sky around 8:30 p.m.

The Christmas market of Saint-Victor-la-Coste is scheduled for this Saturday, December 7, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the Salle René-Mathieu.

The creators' market of Pont-Saint-Esprit will be held on Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8 at the Prieuré Saint-Pierre between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. The event is organized by the Acanthe collective.

The markets of Sunday, December 8

Saint-Julien-de-Peyrolas is hosting a creators' market for one day. Meet at the multipurpose hall this Sunday, December 8.

The town of Saint-Gervaisis organizing its Christmas market on Sunday, December 8 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the La Coquillone hall. For the occasion, horse-drawn carriage rides will be offered, in addition to the traditional stands of local designers. A lace-making demonstration is also scheduled.

The Cavillargues festival committee and artisans will set up Christmas stands on Sunday, December 8, in the center of the village.

Saint-Marcel-de-Careiret welcomes “Christmas Market” on Sunday, December 8, between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. The producers and artisans market is organized by the new festival committee, the San-Marciaux, and will take place in the center of the village. A variety of activities are planned with pony rides (1 p.m. to 5 p.m.), inflatable structures, a raffle, and a photo with Santa Claus (2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.). A Polynesian show is also planned at 4 p.m.

Christmas parade, gifts, gospel concert in Saint-Laurent-des-Arbres

The Saint-Laurent-des-Arbres Christmas market with many artisans and creators will take place on Sunday at the sociocultural center, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Throughout the day, there will be activities such as the Christmas parade, the distribution of gifts for children (from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.), and rides on a little train from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. A gospel concert will delight the audience at 6 p.m. at the church.

The Saint-Étienne-des-Sorts social center will host a Christmas market on December 8 between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Several activities will be offered throughout the day.

Roquemaure will host stands of creators in the village hall on Sunday, December 8. The event is organized by the association Le sou des écoles.

In Bagnols-sur-Cèze, the Christmas market will be held next weekend. But this Saturday, December 7, on Place Mallet, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be the Zanimobiles farm and its farmyard animals. And from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Santa Claus chalet will offer a stand for makeup, tattoos, glitter and balloon sculptures.
