A ceremony during which he assured, among other things, that he will continue, on a national scale, to defend his territory, his actors and that his party, in time, will take control of Béziers.

Stéphanie Galzy, the RN MP for the 5th constituency, Aurélien Lopez-Liguori, RN MP for the 7th constituency, but also Catherine Montaron-Sanmarti, the mayor of Lignan-sur-Orb, Bertrand Gelly, the mayor of Corneilhan and Didier Bresson, the mayor of Cers, were notably present.
“We will soon be in power in Paris, as in Béziers”
In his speech, in which he did not fail to criticize the policy of Emmanuel Macron's government, the elected representative from Béziers first congratulated himself on his party's result in the 2024 European elections, with the National Rally having won “50% of the votes in our constituency”. Looking back on his election in the legislative elections, he expressed confidence in the political future of the RN in his territory, announcing that “We will soon be in power and will take the destiny of France, in Paris, as in Béziers.” The opportunity to sting Emmanuelle Ménard, recalling that he was elected “with an 11,000 vote lead over the candidate who came in second place.” The tirade triggered thunderous applause and suggests that the RN could step up to the plate during the 2026 municipal elections: “If we have popular support, we will think about it very seriously”, assures Julien Gabarron who took advantage of this ceremony to present the National Assembly medal to the athlete Rosa Murcia Gangloff and the swimmer Océane Cassignol for their achievements and their participation in the Paris Olympic Games.
