The “Slim” iPhone 17 is becoming clearer: Apple seems to have a strange idea behind its head

The publication states that the iPhone 17 Slim would have a completely new design, compared to recent models. And in terms of positioning, Apple would make the iPhone 17 Slim its most high-end smartphone, with a price even higher than that of the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Indeed, according to this new source, the base price of the iPhone 17 Pro Max would be $1,199, while that of the Slim model would be $1,299.

Apple's new premium model?

The customer would therefore pay more for a smartphone with a new design, but whose technical sheet would be less advanced than that of the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Indeed, according to this new rumor, the iPhone 17 Pro Max would have 12 GB of RAM, an A19 Pro chip and three 48 megapixel sensors on the back. As for the iPhone 17 Slim, this would make do with 8 GB RAM, an A19 chip and two photo sensors on the back. But of course, for the moment, these are still rumors and therefore caution remains in order. Plus, at this point, it's still possible that Apple's plans could change.

In any case, it would be logical for Apple to put an end to the iPhone “Plus”, if sales of this format do not correspond to the firm's expectations.
