The well-being of others is at the heart of Romane Assemat's passion, who created her beauty institute in Bagnols-sur-Cèze

This year, the young woman from Bagnols created the Institut de Romane, a career change that suits her perfectly. She will continue to train to perfect her skills in what she loves the most: facial care.

“I am passionate about the well-being of others. I like to take care of them and give advice.” And she does it with her heart. At 25, Romane Assemat launched her small business. She was born in Bagnols, feels good there and intends to stay there! The Institut de Romane opened in March. Since October, the entrepreneur has been working in a wellness area at 10 rue Saint-Victor. Before that, Romane Assemat worked in the early childhood sector. “It is therefore a professional reconversion, testifies the smiling and gentle lady. But I always had one foot in aesthetics. Moreover, in 2017, I asked my parents to offer me a training course in nail prosthetics for Christmas.”

Training to become a facialist

In this new adventure, Romane Assemat enjoys working for herself, at her own pace. She passed a CAP in Orange, supplemented by several training courses in facial care and other advanced training for nails in a school in Montpellier. The beautician thus offers nail care, hair removal (for women and men), body and face massages, maderotherapy (a Colombian method of lymphatic drainage), anti-aging treatments “which are in high demand, wrinkles or sagging skin can be treated by methods naturales, assures the specialist. JI don't have any equipment, I work with my hands and products”. Natural, organic and French products (except for nails, that doesn't exist). “I've always had skin problems, allergies. So I'm very careful about what I apply to my skin and I do the same for others.”
Romane Assemat will continue to train in other facial modeling techniques from 2025. “That's what I prefer. I'd like to become a facialist, a facial specialist. The face is what we see first in others.” For her, each appointment is tailor-made, “according to the person's needs at the time. Whatever the chosen treatment, it will never be the same because it depends on the client's feelings, the weather… It's 100% tailor-made”. Feeling good in your skin, while remaining natural, is her philosophy.
