The Wild Robot: Already acclaimed by critics and audiences, this is the family film to see in theaters this week

This Dreamworks animated film to watch with the family has won over critics and audiences who were able to discover it before its release this Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

Want to go to the movies with the family ? One of the cinema releases this Wednesday, October 9 has everything to please children and their parents. The Wild Robot is an animated film from Dreamworks studios, &agrave who we owe sagas like Shrek, Dragons or Kung Fu Panda. Directed by Chris Sanders (Call of the Wild, Lilo & Stitch, How to Train Your Dragon), this feature film follows a robot stranded on a desert island, who will learn to adapt to the environment around him by forming relationships with the various local animals.

Released just before the All Saints' Day holidays, The Wild Robot has already won over the few spectators who have been able to see it in theaters, since the film has a spectator rating of 4.4/5 on Allociné (with 93 ratings). The press is more measured but generally won over, with a rating of 3.6/5: Le Figaro hails "a splendid ecological fable that will delight young and old", while Le Parisien praises the aesthetics of the film, "graphically prodigious", in a film that "stands out for the generosity of its subject and the great originality of its screenplay”.

Same story from Télé Loisirs who judge that it is "impossible to get bored watching this touching film punctuated with humor" thanks to "a gallery of characters as funny as they are endearing" (Premiere). Parents and their children can therefore rush to discover this new gem from this animation studio that has nothing to envy the Disney behemoth!

Synopsis– Shipwrecked on a desert island, a robot learns to adapt to a hostile environment by gradually building relationships with the local animals.
