The south to southeast wind will strengthen in the western Gulf of Lion during the night of Sunday, January 5 to Monday, January 6. This is why Météo France has just placed the Hérault department on yellow alert

3-meter waves
According to the Météo France bulletin, relayed by the department's prefecture, the maximum intensity of the waves is expected Monday mid-morning, with wave heights of 3 meters.
Caution is advised for all boaters and sea professionals, as the waters off Sète are currently very rich in fish. Users are invited to inquire at the harbor master's office and to follow the weather reports very regularly.
