But if there is one little corner that few people pay attention to, it is the connectors, microphones and speakers of your phone. These small holes are nevertheless important since they can cause the device to malfunction. A poorly maintained or never cleaned USB port can accumulate so much dust and dirt that you simply won't be able to charge it anymore! In this case, the only solution is usually to go to a dedicated repairer, but to drop a few notes in the process.

Fortunately, there is a technique to clean the holes of your phone. It is very simple and relies on an object that everyone has at home: scotch tape. To clean the holes of the device, take a roll of scotch tape and cut a small piece that you will place on the holes that you want to clean. This can be the charging port of your phone as well as the speakers.

Then take a thin, hard object like a pin or paper clip and press the scotch tape inside the holes you want to clean. Don't force it too much either. The goal is simply to make sure the tape is well fixed on your device in order to capture all the small dirt encrusted inside. Once this is done, simply equip yourself with a small pair of tweezers and remove the tape. You should find some dirt stuck to it!

If some large dust remains, you can also use the tweezers &epilate to catch them directly in your phone. This technique is however not easy to perform for speakers, which are generally too small. Practice this cleaning from time to time, especially when you notice dirt in the holes of your phone, and your phone will be in much better condition after several years of use!
