During his interview, Jean-Claude Camus was asked about Johnny Hallyday's children. “I'm not close to David. I did his first tours, but everything that happened at one time separated us a little” he said. He then lamented the fact that there are still “two clans”.
While David Hallyday and Laura Smet have a very strong relationship, this is not the case with their two sisters, Jade and Joy Hallyday. “I especially regret for the little ones…” thus indicated Jean-Claude Camus. Jordan de Luxe so asked him: “They suffer from çthat ?”. A question to which the producer responded with: “Yes. The little ones, they would like to see their brother and sister”.
David Hallyday took a step towards his two sisters
In December 2023, Jade and Joy Hallyday confided in David Hallyday and Laura Smet about their complicated relationships. They explained that they had made them “great promises” at Johnny's funeral. Since then, Laeticia Hallyday's daughters have felt abandoned and betrayed.
Last September, David Hallyday spoke out on this clan war. He indicated that her sisters “only know what they have been told”. And to continue: “All I can say is that I love them. I have always loved them. Afterwards, life will make us get closer, or not”. A outstretched hand that could signify the beginning of reconciliation.
