Ils sont propriétaires depuis le début de l'année et espèrent recevoir leurs premiers clients au printemps 2025.

The work is nearing completion and the gîte should be able to open in spring 2025. The young owners share news of the progress of the work on their social networks.

The three young people discover the house when Camille and Émilie's parents move in next door according to Le Figaro. “After some research, we learned that it had been uninhabited for 15 years and that the previous owner, who had passed away, had bequeathed it to an association working for people with disabilities,” explains Émilie.

Finally, the house is put up for sale and the only potential buyer backs out. The three young people therefore buy the house for the sum of 37,000 euros net seller, “the price of a car”, exclaims Émilie, who works in the automobile industry and who shares the progress of the work on an Instagram account followed by more than 22,000 people, Le verger des Anges.

If the house did not require major work, the renovations were carried out entirely by themselves or almost. “So far, we have only called on a professional to change the frames. We did the plumbing, electrics and insulation ourselves“, helped by their handyman father.

Objective for the young owners, 50 nights of rental in the first year, then double that by 2026 before moving on to the second stage of the project: “install a masonry spa in the vaulted cellar in tuffeau stone”.
