In a few weeks, three young people from the Châteaux de la Loire region will finish work on their house bought for next to nothing. Thanks to this purchase, they will be able to enjoy the passage of customers in their luxury gîte for years to come.
“Our father is very handy,” justifies one of the three young people behind the project to the Figaro. Last year, they bought a house that had been abandoned for 15 years for 37,000 euros in Indre-et-Loire. After doing some work themselves, they hope to open their luxury gîte next spring.
When they realized that the coveted house was being resold by an association helping disabled people for “the price of a car”, the three young people aged 26 and 30 didn't hesitate for long.
