This app lets you earn money by playing video games

Spread the love

Bogs, a young French start-up, announces the launch of its beta application on iOS and Android. The principle: play your favorite video games, while earning money in the event of a victory.

Monetize victories

How Bogs works is simple and clear. After creating an account, simply deposit money which is converted into “Bogs”, the app's virtual currency. 5 Bogs are equivalent to 1 euro. Then, it is possible to bet and participate in duels or competitions in confrontation games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, Call of Duty or EA Sports FC24.

The winner, who wins the total initial stake, can win up to 60 euros for each game. A system then allows the money to be transferred directly to the bank account. According to the start-up, cheating is almost impossible because players must provide a screenshot showing the result. Those who lie are banned from the platform. Note that to generate profits, Bogs takes a small portion of the winner's winnings, up to 15 to 20% of the stake.

200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000

Players progress through different ranks based on their performance. The higher you progress in the ranks, the more attractive the rewards become, such as gift cards for restaurants, vouchers for travel, or even gym memberships. TheFork, TripAdvisor and Fitness Park are partners of Bogs.

Bogs responds to particularly high demand

«&amp ;nbsp; We wanted to make the dream of all video game players who are not professionals or streamers  come true,” says Adam Nabawy, co-founder of Bogs , in an interview given to Figaro. In France, 72% of the population plays video games, reveals a Médiamétrie study.

If many try the adventure of streaming to make a living from their passion, especially on Twitch, it is sometimes very difficult to stand out. Of the 2 million French people who take part in video game competitions, only between 150 and 300 make it their profession, specifies the daily.

Founded at the end of 2022 by gaming fans, Bogs raised 100,000 euros just three months after its launch. An extremely rare performance in the sector in which it operates. Several business angels responded to the call, notably Anthony Bourbon and Taïg Khris.

It is possible to access the Bogs beta by going to its website . The deployment of the final version is, for its part, scheduled for September 1, 2024.
