If you're on vacation, you're probably taking as many photos as possible for your memories, or for social networks. And this year, you can take advantage of a new free Google Photos feature that will allow you to make significant edits, with very little effort: Magic Edit, which relies on artificial intelligence. This feature was launched at the end of 2023 by Google, for its Pixel 8 smartphone. Subsequently, it arrived on Google Photos, but only for paying users. And in April, Google announced that some of its photo editing features, including Magic Edit, would be free.
And recently, in a blog post, Google indicated that the free AI-powered editing features are now available to all Google Photos users (it appears to have taken a while to roll out). As you can see in the video below, magic retouching allows for example to move objects in a photo in a few gestures, and without using specialized software like Photoshop.

It should be noted that if Google's magic touch-up is available For free, users who do not have a Google One subscription (2TB or more) can only use this feature 10 times per month (10 recordings per month, to be precise).
