Lake Lispach is a mountain lake in the Vosges mountains, located at the foot of the La Bresse-Hohneck ski slopes, at an altitude of 912 metres, in the heart of the Ballons des Vosges regional nature park. Unique in its kind, the lake is occupied over almost half of its surface area by a floating peat bog which gives the place all its charm. If hiking is your thing, the tour of the lake, accessible at the whole family, is a must.

Starting from the car park on the Lispach road, at the foot of the La Bresse-Lispach estate, you will take this 3.8 kilometre trail around Lake Lispach, in the heart of the surrounding forest. You can then enjoy fascinating flora and fauna, coming across frogs, newts and dragonflies, and we have magnificent views of the lake, which we can enjoy comfortably seated on benches placed here and there. On the other side of the lake, it is possible to cross the forest in width to join a path that goes up to the Roche des Vieux Chevaux. Although the difference in altitude is quite steep, it is worth the effort: it is the best viewpoint of the lake and its surroundings.

Visit the lake of Lispach at Autumn promises a memorable experience. It's a powerful shot of nature and a delight for the eyes. And if you're still asking for more, head to Lac de Longemer, its counterpart, located less than four kilometers to the north. On site, if your visit lasts too long, there are lodges, hotels and restaurants in the surrounding area. Enjoy your walk!
