The plane crashed in a wooded area near a motel in Chilliwack.

Three people died when a small plane crashed Friday afternoon near the airport in Chilliwack, a town 100 kilometers east of Vancouver.
According to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), none of the people on board the aircraft survived the crash of the Piper PA-34, a twin-engine, six- to seven-seat aircraft.
RCMP say the small plane crashed in a wooded area near a motel at 8100 Young Road. The police are working to inform the victims' relatives.
British Columbia Emergency Health Services says five ambulances and a paramedic supervisor responded to the accident scene. Two medical helicopters were deployed, but were recalled before intervening.
First responders were on scene near the Chilliwack Motor Inn. The plane crashed in a nearby wooded area.
Police say the scene is secure and there are no #x27;There is no risk for the public.
The origin of the crash is unknown at this time. The Coroners Service and the Transportation Safety Board (TSB) are investigating.
