Tineco S7 Combo Review: The Best All-Around Solution

The robot vacuum cleaner may have become a must-have, but it still does not completely replace a good stick vacuum or a washing vacuum. C This is where the Tineco S7 Combo comes in with its unique concept: a removable motor that can be installed in either a stick vacuum or a washer vacuum. A game-changing approach.

Rather than creating yet another hybrid device that would do everything half-heartedly, Tineco decided to develop two separate machines. On one side, a classic stick vacuum. On the other, a high-performance washer vacuum. The common point ? A motor unit that switches from one to the other in a few seconds.

This strategy allows for the best of both worlds. Each aircraft focuses on its core function without technical compromises. The shared engine not only reduces overall cost, but also ensures optimal power in both configurations.

In vacuum mode, the S7 Combo does not disappoint. Light and easy to handle, it can easily get around. The motor offers two power levels that adapt to different surfaces. Hard floors and carpets are cleaned efficiently, without leaving any residue.

The included accessories expand the possibilities: a crevice tool for corners and a motorized mini-brush for sofas and stairs. By becoming a handheld vacuum cleaner in just a few seconds, the S7 becomes everything What vacuum cleaners can't offer. The only downside is the dust bin, which is a bit underpowered and needs to be emptied frequently.

The S7 Combo really comes into its own in wash mode. The dual-tank system (clean water/dirty water) works wonderfully. The iLoop sensor automatically adjusts the water flow rate according to the level of dirt detected, thus avoiding waste.

The rotating microfiber brush ensures deep cleaning without damaging floors. Simultaneous vacuuming removes excess water, speeding up drying. Stubborn stains, even coffee or milk, disappear in just a few passes. < strong>We can see here that all of Tineco's experience in the field has been infused into this washer vacuum cleaner. One problem, however, is that the dirty water tank emptying system is not the most practical.

The docking station is rather classic, offering a hot water cleaning and drying function, as offered on all the bases of the current high-end washers. The most practical aspect of the base is obviously that it groups the two devices, which of course gives it a larger footprint than a classic base. But that is not the biggest problem with the S7 Combo base. The concept of the combo is obviously based on the presence of two devices, sharing the same motor. However, the frustration here is that you will have to systematically replace the motor on the washer vacuum cleaner to recharge it.Allowing the vacuum cleaner to charge the motor would have avoided several unnecessary manipulations. Too bad.

Daily use highlights the relevance of the concept. A quick vacuuming followed by washing ensures impeccable floors in record time. Changing modes quickly becomes intuitive and performance remains constant.

The battery life doesn't disappoint with 65 minutes of vacuuming and 40 minutes of washing. Fast charging via the docking station allows you to quickly resume cleaning if necessary. The combo allows you to adapt to every situation.

With a price tag of around 900 euros, the S7 Combo represents a substantial investment. However, it effectively replaces two high-end devices and offers remarkable cleaning quality. For homes with mainly hard floors and looking for a complete solution, the investment is justified.

At a price of 679 euros at the moment, this makes it the best value for money on the market.
