With My Cubik Market, the two sisters Delphine and Aurélia Pontegnier have chosen a different location for the past seven years to set up their pop-up shop during the Christmas period in the streets of central Montpellier.

“This year, at the invitation of La Petite Académie, we have taken over the premises of Place Saint-Côme”, Delphine emphasizes. Their concept: select artisans and place their creations in cubes for small display cases.

For all tastes and all prices

“We opt for those whose work we like, our favorites. By trying to highlight artists and creators from the region. This allows us to offer a fairly varied range of objects to offer as well as the prices.”

And indeed, there is something for all tastes and all budgets with about twenty styles on display. On site you can find bags, porcelain, magnificent jewelry, even some in origami. There are also superb framed engravings: “They are cute, poetic with a little touch of humor.”

Like these little boxes of instant comfort to open in case of little hard times. Or even lights and trays made from old school geography maps.

For each find, the work is neat, handmade and of quality. The ideal place for those who are lacking inspiration to offer a Christmas present.

My Cubik Market until Saturday December 28 located at La Petite Académie at 7 place Saint-Côme. Prices from 5 euros to 200 euros. Opening hours: Monday, Tuesday, Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Thursday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tel. 06 21 40 73 37.
