Pour vanter son autobiographie, le Sétois Christian Trallero, ancien champion de France de rugby avec Narbonne, a créé un stand-up entrecoupé de chansons de Brassens.

The first, in Sète, takes place this Friday, January 17 (*) in the premises of the Casa de España association, boulevard Chevalier-de-Clerville. The curious, or friends, who go there will see Christian Trallero's stand-up. “Instead of doing readings from my book, the former French rugby champion with Narbonne slips in, I deliver anecdotes that I selected from it”, says the septuagenarian.

Brassens songs with chosen themes

This show, scheduled to last an hour and a half, is interspersed with Brassens songs, played by Angel Gironès and Jean-Louis Lambert, related to the previous passage. Like the Copains d’abord, for the excerpts on rugby, for example. But make no mistake. In his autobiography entitled Le bison des Cévennes (his nickname on the field), Christian Trallero does not only talk about the oval ball.

A volume 2 in preparation

“I also talk about my childhood, my first job as a plasterer, my four wives, my professional adventures in Russia, my company Maison Cévenole or my meetings with Galabru or Boutier”, recalls the resident of Barrou. The idea is, thus, to make the audience want to buy his book. A volume 2 is already in preparation.

Le Bison des Cévennes, by and with Christian Trallero, 350 p. €20.
(*) Signing session at 6 p.m., show at 7 p.m.
