The European market leader in mailboxes, the French firm Decayeux explains that the demand for connected mailboxes doubles every six months. At Decayeux, the modern mailbox is powered by a photovoltaic panel. Everything is secured thanks to a QR code and consumers receive notifications in real time.

But Decayeux is not the only player on the market. The French company Boks is also very popular, offering mailboxes that allow you to receive parcels via a connected locker system that works with a personal code or via a mobile application. Since Boks connected mailboxes do not use electricity but batteries, they have a low energy impact.

While connected mailboxes are a dream come true, we will have to wait for lower prices to see them become more widespread.
