MHR has confirmed the long unavailability of its international second row Paul Willemse for a period of three months. Affected by a new concussion, during the match against Stade Français, the player will undergo a new assessment at the end of this period to know the evolution of his situation.

Already several concussions

Paul Willemse has already suffered several concussions in recent months which forced him to observe a long period of rest last season. “This year is pivotal for me. Either everything is going well, I play matches and that's the best. Or it's a second option, and I stop rugby in the event of another KO”, declared the second row in an interview with Midi Libre.
The confirmation of this long absence could tip the balance. We will have to wait for the second battery of tests to confirm Willemse's neurological condition before he makes a decision. Which could have serious consequences for his future.
