La qualité de l'eau sous surveillance. Midi Libre – SYLVIE CAMBON
200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000Should the presence of tritium levels ranging from 10 to 20 becquerels per liter be a cause for concern for consumers? ? Following an investigation by Mediapart, Midi Libre attempted to answer this question in our article published on December 11. The Regional Health Agency, contacted, did not respond at the time.
In a press release, it provided “the following details” on Friday:
“- The ARS regularly monitors radioactivity in drinking water through comprehensive analyses of samples taken at collection points. To assess potential radioactivity in drinking water, these analyses are based on 4 complementary indicators, including tritium activity.
– In France, as part of the health control carried out by the ARS, more than 10,000 tritium analyses are carried out every year at the consumer's tap. No exceedance of the European parametric value has been observed. Thus, to date in Occitanie, for all the analyses carried out since 2017, the tritium concentrations measured in water intended for human consumption are well below the regulatory quality reference of 100 Bq/L. The maximum value measured in the entire Occitanie region was 20.40 Bq/L in 2020.
– For any additional local clarification, the ARS reminds that all the data from the water health monitoring that it carries out on all microbiological, chemical or radiological parameters for drinking water are available online, municipality by municipality on the website of the Ministry of Health:
