An investigation was ; opened by the Montauban public prosecutor's office. The facts date back to last June.

The facts had until now remained a real open secret. It was finally a parent of a student, close to the victims, who decided to break the code of silence. The father of the family says he is now scandalized that the two 9-year-old girls had to change primary schools at the start of the school year so as not to be confronted daily in class with their attackers, which forced their parents to enroll them in a private school, relays La Dépéche. “We have the impression that some people want to stifle the facts, that we should definitely not talk about them,” he explains.

The genesis of this affair dates back to the very end of last school year. It all started with “a children's game of dare or no dare”, another source told the local newspaper. In June 2024, a few days before the start of the summer holidays and while teachers were understaffed after a sick leave, three boys, aged 8 to 10, played ” showing each other their willies in the playground” of the municipal school of Bioule, in Tarn-et-Garonne. Questioned by the two girls, who described the game as “disgusting”, one of the boys then allegedly said : “You're not capable of kissing her!”

The game could have ended there, but under pressure, the girls ended up kissing their classmates' genitals. Some time later, one of the girls mentioned the facts to the teaching staff. When questioned by Le Parisien, the public prosecutor of Montauban, Bruno Sauvage, assures that the case is taken very seriously. “An investigation is underway and it will have to determine in particular the discernment of the young boys involved”, he explains. &To this day, one of the girls is still being followed by a psychologist as a result of this sexual assault. As for the families, they believe that they are being  "doubly punished" and “don't understand why they were the ones who had to leave” school and pay for a private establishment to keep their children away from the attackers, a relative confided to La Dépêche
