A true figure of the small screen, Arnaud Ducret has distinguished himself for several years in the television series Parents mode d’emploi on France 2. In this fiction, he played an offbeat father. A role that echoes his own life since he is at the head of a large blended family. 

In July 2021, the actor married Claire Francisci. Already the father of Oscar (12 years old), he also became the stepfather of the triplets, Léo, Florian and Angélique (18 years old), from a previous union of the dancer. Teenagers with whom he immediately “got along very well”.

Arnaud Ducret lives in two apartments

On Saturday, December 14, Arnaud Ducret éwas invited in the show 50’ Inside on TF1. In front of Isabelle Ithurburu, the actor of Profs spoke about his particular family life. Indeed, since his meeting with Claire Francisci, he has decided to live in two apartments. “It's not bad. When I'm with my son, I'm on my side, in the other apartment” he explained.

This accommodation, which allows him to share moments between father and son, is not his only accommodation since he also lives with his wife. He explained : “When the triplets are there or my son is not there, I go to the apartment with Claire or Claire joins me”. An organization that allowed them to find a ébalance.

The actor considered to have a second child

After his separation from Oscar's mother, Arnaud Ducret considered starting his own family with Claire Francisci. “I would have loved to have another child” he confided to Isabelle Ithurburu. And he continued about his wife: “She has already triplets and then she has a pole dancing school, she undertakes things”. 

Ultimately, this project did not come to fruition, because the couple have very demanding careers. The actor's regular departures for filming are also said to have had an impact on their family organization. “I have to respect his choice, even if I would have loved to” finally concluded that he flourishes daily in his role as father and stepfather.
