Once again this Saturday, Aurélie Garnier, its director, and the Polygone shopping center are expecting record attendance. Up to 80,000 people on the first day of the December weekends, between 50,000 and 60,000 people per day during the week. “We will end the year with the same figures as last year, with an attendance of 14 million visitors” in 2024, appreciates the manager. However, “customer experience is a priority” and the place, a true economic and commercial locomotive of the city center, is far from its maximum capacity. “Customers need to be able to evolve properly.

“We feel that people are looking for prices”

A very favorable period for business. Whatever. “We had some very good weekends, including Black Friday. We feel that people are looking for prices. There is an ambient gloom. It's up to us to put them in the warm Christmas atmosphere.” Aurélie Garnier is thinking in particular of the new features offered at the Fnac patio: a huge tree and a Christmas market with six chalets in place until December 29. An experience that could be repeated next year. A special year since the shopping center will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2025 in style, particularly the week of March 5.

Upcoming openings in 2025

Everything in its own time. For now, the director appreciates the installation of Lolly's and Cure gourmande candies at the beginning of the month, as well as the pop-up stores, present for the holidays: Maison Montaigne, Street Kulture and Mr Kicks. In 2025, other brands will appear.
