Val-de-Marne: a woman shot dead and her son seriously injured by gunfire at their home, what we know

A man broke into an apartment early in the evening and shot a woman and her son in Limeil-Brévannes, in Val-de-Marne. The suspect fled and is being actively sought.

A woman was shot dead late in the afternoon and her son was seriously injured in the torso during a shootout at their home. The events occurred at Limeil-Brévannes, in Val-de-Marne, around 6:30 p.m. According to Le Parisien, a man broke into their apartment located on the fifth floor of a building on rue des Herbages-de-Sèze in the Pasteur district, not far from the town hall. He then shot the victims several times.

The woman was shot in the head and died of her injuries. His son was seriously injured by a bullet in the torso. His life is said to be in danger. According to some sources, the son is also dead, but Le Parisien specifies that this information could neither be confirmed nor denied.

The shooter fled before the arrival of the police and emergency services, according to initial investigations. He is being actively sought.
