Actress Karin Viard was present at the 16th edition of Les Arcs Film Festival, in the Alps. The actress had a fall while skiing and suffered a head trauma. She shared the information on her Instagram page this Sunday, December 15, 2024.

The actress was in the Alps for the 16th edition of the Arcs Film Festival, a festival dedicated to independent European cinema that takes place from December 14 to 21, 2024 in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, in Savoie.
In the video clip, we hear the person filming her ask her: “Are you okay or not ?”. And Karin Viard replies: “That's really scary for me actually”.
The video sparked many reactions. Her accident brought back memories of that of the actor Gaspard Ulliel for some Internet users: “You're doing well, courage. Unfortunately, this is not the case for everyone, a thought for Gaspard”, posted one of them in comment.
As a reminder, on January 19, 2022, actor Gaspard Ulliel was the victim of a fatal skiing accident on the slopes of the Rosière resort. He succumbed to his injuries at the Grenoble University Hospital just a few hours after colliding with another skier. He was 37 years old.
