VIDEO. The huge scare on the Etoile de Bessèges: a car comes face to face with the peloton in full race

Right at the end of the second stage of the Etoile de Bessèges, a car came face to face with the cycling peloton, without causing any accidents, fortunately.  

The huge scare of the day on the Etoile de Bessèges 2025: with less than 17 kilometers left before the finish of the second stage between Domessargues and Marguerittes, a car arrived in the wrong place at the wrong time.

While the peloton was launched at full speed in pursuit of the day's escapees, it came face to face with a car that obviously had no business being there.

Slight fall

Fortunately for everyone, the car managed to brake in time and then move to the side to let the peloton pass.

Only a few riders had to dismount or even fell to the side of the road due to the movement within the peloton. More fear than harm.
