A return to his roots. For Vincent Lagaf’, 2025 marks his comeback to television. After having made the heyday of TF1 with Bigdil, the host is back with the same program, but this time on RMC Story. À the occasion of an interview for our colleagues from TV Mag Le Figaro, the presenter returned to the intensity of the old filming and his choice to have wanted to slow down the pace. “I'm not old anymore”, he begins by confiding.

“I am in a state, I insist on this a lot, lamentable. Physically, I'm in good shape, I'm full of energy, but I have 41 pieces of scrap metal in my body and half a lung less”, he says.

Vincent Lagaf' talks about his state of health

Victim of several serious accidents, Vincent Lagaf’ is tired more quickly: “For now, I am not able to do it. So, let's explore the life of prime time down to the smallest corners, we'll see later. If the channel has the possibility of buying me a heart-lung kit, I'll take, he says humorously. “But for now, I'm sticking to one prime time show per week.”

But this return to my roots is doing Vincent Lagaf a world of good,” who has found his mother again: “I got the shivers”, he says after seeing the scenery of the show. “I was convinced that it would pass like çthat. And yet, I cried my ass off. I don't know if many guys in my situation had the opportunity and the courage to go back.”

Will the host return to daily &agrave television ?

For this big comeback, Vincent Lagaf’ had asked for several important things in his eyes, notably “having the same decor”. For him, it was important to show the viewers that the show had not changed. A return to the sources that could give wings to the host.

If the ratings are good and his health allows it, Vincent Lagaf’ could then return to the daily shows, on RMC Story. A nice career plan for the one who was therefore very moved to return to the set of Bigdil. Hoping that the viewers are as optimistic as he is. We will have to wait a few months to see the success of the program.
