Vitaa reveals the behind the scenes of her concerts with Slimane

It was almost 20 years ago… In 2006, Vitaa became known to the general public by collaborating on the title Confessions nocturnes, with Diam’s. Alone, the singer has released many albums, and has then collaborated with many artists, such as Gims, Jul, Claudio Capéo, Stromae and Slimane. Winner of the fifth season of The Voice in 2016, the latter released the album VersuS as a duet with the artist in 2019.

Tuesday, October 29, 2024, Le Parisien revealed that a former technician from Slimane's tour had brought complaint against the artist for sexual harassment. On Monday, November 18, 2024, the magazine revealed that a second complaint had been filed against him. Despite everything, Vitaa continues to support her friend and it was hand in-hand that they appeared at the last NRJ Music Awards ceremony.

On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, Vitaa had invited her friend Slimane to the stage of the Accor Arena. However, technicians were opposed to the singer's arrival. For Le Parisien, a technician had explained : “She doesn't understand why someone is doing this to her when she has nothing to do with it. She sees it as a betrayal. She says that Slimane is like her brother and that like in any family, we stick together even if we don't endorse all the bullshit”.
