The Béziers volleyball players, who were playing at home this Sunday, December 29, will benefit from a nice Christmas break after their victory against Mulhouse.

For Frédéric Havas, the Béziers coach, the difference was made by the tactical mastery and superiority of his team in certain sectors.
“We are better equipped in defensive block than Mulhouse. They have weaknesses in certain rotations and we were able to exploit these openings. Physically and technically, we are starting to find a balance that allows us to perform well,” the coach rejoices.
Aiming for a title ?
With this new victory against a major team in the championship, Havas is displaying its ambitions: “When you win in Bordeaux, against Paris and then Mulhouse, why not aim for a title? We have shown that we can perform well collectively. Now, everything will depend on our ambition, our work and our state of mind”.
It is therefore with the feeling “of having done the job” that the Béziers coach will be able to celebrate the Christmas break, not without recalling that this progression is the fruit of regular collective work: “When I arrived, the team did not know each other. Just as I had never met the staff. I had to recruit players late who came from a different background: American university, Bulgaria, Switzerland… Each with their own habits. But through repetition, we learn to play together”.
Next match on January 11 in Nantes
With promising results and a team that is now well-established, Béziers Volley seems ready to take on new challenges. Next step to confirm this great momentum: January 11, with a trip to Nantes.
