This European site wins the prize for the best amusement parks in the world.
The most prestigious award in the entertainment industry is presented each year by the magazine “Amusement Today”, following the vote of a jury of experts from around the world. Despite strong competition, particularly in the United States with the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida or Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, it's a European park that rises to the top of the “Best amusement park in the entire world” this year!
Located in Rust, Germany, very close to Strasbourg, Europa-Park was named “Best Amusement Park in the World” on September 7th, by the “Golden Ticket Awards” from Amusement Today magazine, ahead of Dollywood in Tennessee, USA, and Tokyo DisneySea in Japan, which came in third place. The German amusement park had already received this award 8 times in the past, from 2014 to 2022, with the exception of 2020, in the midst of the Covid 19 crisis. It is thanks to its new attraction, Voltron Nevera, a “Stryker Coaster” type roller coaster inaugurated last April, that the park has regained its first position in the ranking. Toutatis, the new impressive roller coaster at Parc Astérix, can go get dressed again!
