This European site wins the prize for the best amusement parks in the world.

The most prestigious award in the entertainment industry is presented each year by the magazine “Amusement Today”, following the vote of a jury of experts from around the world. Despite strong competition, particularly in the United States with the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida or Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, it's a European park that rises to the top of the “Best amusement park in the entire world” this year!

Located in Rust, Germany, very close to Strasbourg, Europa-Park was named “Best Amusement Park in the World” on September 7th, by the “Golden Ticket Awards” from Amusement Today magazine, ahead of Dollywood in Tennessee, USA, and Tokyo DisneySea in Japan, which came in third place. The German amusement park had already received this award 8 times in the past, from 2014 to 2022, with the exception of 2020, in the midst of the Covid 19 crisis. It is thanks to its new attraction, Voltron Nevera, a “Stryker Coaster” type roller coaster inaugurated last April, that the park has regained its first position in the ranking. Toutatis, the new impressive roller coaster at Parc Astérix, can go get dressed again!

Its roller coaster offers an experience never seen before: the steepest propulsion in the world at 105°, 7 inversions and a continuous weightlessness experience of 2.2 seconds, which earns it the title of “best new roller coaster in the world” also this year. But the accolades don't stop there. Europa-Park has been awarded the “Turnstile” Award (special publisher's prize) for the reconstruction in less than a year of its Austrian theme area destroyed by a fire in 2023, with the new attractions “Enzian Alpine Express” and “Tyrolean Rapids”.”

“The jury particularly highlighted the variety and quality Europa-Park attractions, providing an exceptional visitor experience through high-quality operation and maintenance,” the park announced in a press release. He was also “impressed by the mix of traditional rides and digital content, as well as the shows, restaurants and accommodation on offer”. And the pleasant surprises don't stop there. : for the 50th anniversary of Europa-Park in 2025, the two mascot mice of the park, Ed & Edda will have their first film at the cinema.
