The Telethon activities begin this Thursday, November 6 in Bagnols-sur-Cèze. Then between Friday and Sunday, three walks are planned as well as various activities and initiations offered by associations and the City of Bagnols-sur-Cèze.
Activities for the benefit of the AFM Telethon in Bagnols-sur-Cèze begin this Thursday, December 5. At the national level, the event had been brought forward to the weekend of November 29, because of the inauguration of Notre-Dame-de-Paris on Saturday, December 7, but “for logistical and organizational reasons“, the City of Bagnols-sur-Cèze decided to keep the initial date. “We hope that people will be receptive and get involved in the activities”, pspecifies Marie-Claude Frontraille, head of the senior space.
The table tennis club (BMSTT) had anticipated and organized an interclub tournament on November 18. This week, it is the BTP association of Gard rhodanien that is launching the salvo of events with its traditional tea dance on Thursday, December 5 at 2 p.m. in the multicultural room (participation: 5 euros). On Friday, December 5, users of the senior space will hold a stand selling Christmas decorations between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the Intermarché gallery.

These walks, classified as “easy”, will depart from the multicultural hall at 8:30 a.m. (registration: €5). “Walking for the Telethon is symbolically very important because we do it for adults and children who can no longer,” says Michèle Fond-Thurial, deputy delegate for health. Even if there is a mistral, you have to make this effort. It is also an opportunity to fund research.”
A third 12 km excursion is scheduled for Sunday, December 8, leaving from the Saint-Gilles islet at 9:45 a.m., heading towards Saint-Martin-de-Jussan de Tresques (registration: 5 euros).
Saturday, December 7, still at the multicultural hall, there will be a free initiation offered by the Bridge club at 10 a.m. At 11 a.m., the dancers of LNB Studio will share their talents. The radio modeling association is offering the making of compressed air rockets in front of La Poste, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (participation: €2).
