“It is impossible to exclude Ukraine from any negotiating platform. Otherwise, this negotiating platform will not have real results,” the Ukrainian president explained during a meeting in kyiv with his Moldovan counterpart, Maia Sandu. “Before any meeting, whatever it may be, it is necessary to establish a format on paper: how can we achieve a just peace? I think we should focus on this today,”, he continued.

Three killed in Ukrainian strike in occupied territory

Three people were killed in a Ukrainian strike near Kherson, in the territory occupied by Russia in southern Ukraine, the occupation authorities announced on Saturday.

The Ukrainian army used“weapons cluster munitions and remote mine-clearing systems” in a strike on Oleshky, a town near the Dnieper River that forms the frontline between Ukrainian and Russian troops, Vladimir Saldo, a local official appointed by Moscow, accused on Telegram.

Kiev and Moscow have accused each other of using cluster munitions since the conflict began nearly three years ago. “At the moment, we know that three civilians were killed,” Saldo added, adding that the victims were being identified.
