Her destiny changed in one evening… Saturday, December 14, 2024, the election of Miss France 2025 took place. After hours of show, it was finally Angélique Angarni-Filopon, Miss Martinique, who won the crown against Sabah Aïb, Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais. The 34-year-old woman thus succeeds Eve Gilles, whose reign has just ended. Since then, the beauty queen has been extremely sought after and has made appearances on television sets.
Tuesday, December 17, 2024, Angélique Angarni-Filopon was invited on the set of Bonjour, the TF1 morning show. “We are very happy to welcome her this morning”, declared Bruce Toussaint before welcoming the young woman and exclaiming once again: “What a pleasure to welcome you!“. As he returned to his seat, the journalist asked him if he should call her Miss France, Angélique or mademoiselle. “Angélique”, she replied.

Deciding to put her foot in it, a columnist blurted out: “Çit's okay, we can go out if you want ?!“. “But no, not at all”, he declared in order to make up for it. On the set, the rest of the interview then went very well. Asked about her state of fatigue since this weekend, Miss France 2025 assured that she was fine and that she was “on autopilot mode”.
After reviewing images of her coronation, Angélique Angarni-Filopon appeared particularly moved. Asked about what she had said to her first runner-up before the discovery of the final result, she answered: “Know that it's very long. If for you behind the TV it's long, for us it's even longer and so, we were talking. I told her that I was very proud of her, she had an exceptional career”.
The day before, on the set of Culture Médias, on Europe 1, Miss France 2025, aged 34, had addressed all the women “à who were told that it was too late“. “When I say that I'm going to have children later, well, it's too late. When I say that I still haven't had an apartment and that I wasn't a homeowner, well, it's too late. When I want to do the Miss France contest again, I have to leave that to the young people and it's also too late”, she had lamented.
While no candidate had ever been also aged, it was during a press conference that Angélique Angarni-Filopon had let go : “It's never too late and I'm living proof“, before adding: “Since I was elected Miss Martinique, you'd be surprised to see the number of messages I receive from women who want to change their career, life and country, but think it's too late”.
