“We didn't do the job, we weren't good”: the annoyed reaction of coach Pierre Caillet after the Béziers-Colomiers match

Concerned, Pierre Caillet ? No, annoyed by the scenario of the defeat (17-29) against Colomiers, which puts a stop to the rise of the Biterrois.

Pierre Caillet (ASBH manager): “”We are obviously disappointed. We also know that this championship is difficult, we see it every weekend. Without realizing it, we were warned during the week. So tonight, we will listen, quite simply we were not good, we were dominated in intensity. We had the weapons, but I think we recited a little too much.

We are not going to say that we are blunt. How to explain this defeat ? Frankly, there is no real explanation. We had the wind in the first half, we did not use it once. There was not really a confrontation up front, I have the impression. There were not many touches on the match, there was not really a fight. There are evenings when we have the impression that nothing is working.”

“I am more annoyed than worried”

“We could have created a small breach tonight, but we didn't. We didn't find a solution, Colomiers was simply better than us. There are things to say about the context of the match. We're going to keep our mouths shut because tonight, we didn't do the job. Afterwards, we also have to tell ourselves that there are positive things. We are still second in the standings, the block's results are good. We played a normal block (10 points out of 15). We could have made a very, very good block.

Tonight, I'm more annoyed than worried, because we were warned. We'll be able to learn lessons for the future. The key to the match was defense. Tonight, we weren't good. It allows us to learn more. It comes through discussions.”
