This sudden change is explained by the Icelandic depression. When a cold air current is present in this area at a very high altitude, as it descends, it warms up and dries out, causing milder weather in the territory. It will therefore chase away polar air this weekend. 

This trend will be confirmed at the beginning of next week, according to Météo-France. "Temperatures, well above seasonal norms at the beginning of the week, particularly in the southwest, should return to values ​​close to average from the middle of the week,", specifies the specialized site.
