Snowfall and ice
There are 40 departments on alert snowfall, including Lozère, where according to the prefecture, were expected for the morning of this Friday, January 3rd, 7 to 15 cm of snow on the Aubrac, 5 to 10 cm in Margeride and on the Mont Lozère, 3 to 7 cm above 1000 m on the A75.

Avalanche risks
Six departments of the Alpine massif are on alert for avalanche risk including that of the Alpes-Maritimes.

A risk of flooding has been announced in 14 departments (the alert is valid for Normandy, Aisne and Oise).
