Weather: temperatures will drop sharply on this date in all these departments

While this week's weather is disrupted, the trend could soon reverse. But the sun will be accompanied by a very sudden drop in temperatures.

After a weekend split in two, the weather remains unstable in France. No one will escape the rain in the middle of the week. Tuesday and Wednesday, the rains are very heavy, they will even be stormy in the south-eastern quarter of the country. Hautes-Alpes, Alpes-Maritimes, Ardèle, Gard, Lozère, Isère, Loire, Rhône, Ain, Jura and Saône-et -Loire have been é placed on orange rain-flood alert by Méetéo-France. In the west, the weather is also unstable with showers. However, temperatures are mild. Wednesday is more unsettled. The arrival of storm Kirk causes strong winds, up to 100 km/h, and torrential rain in the north and west, according to La Chaine Météo.

On Thursday, even if the storm calms down, the wind is still present in the north and east in the morning and a little rain is still noticeable during the day. We must therefore wait until Friday to see a real improvement. A few showers will persist north of the Seine. However, Thursday will see a drop in temperatures, which will fall below seasonal norms. Drier but much cooler weather is forecast for the end of the week.

The drop in temperatures will, in fact, continue this weekend according to La Chaine météo. From Saturday morning, temperatures will drop to just 2 degrees, with a risk of frost in the north and central east. It will be particularly cool when waking up in Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Normandy and Alsace.

Saturday afternoon, it will only be around ten degrees in the north and up to 19 in the Mediterranean region. The sun should however be present in most regions, after the morning fog has cleared. Enough to spend a beautiful afternoon before the days get shorter radically with the time change at the end of October. A few clouds will persist south of the Garonne.

This weather will continue all weekend with generous sunshine, Sunday in particular will be a beautiful sunny day, the most beautiful in days! But beware of the cold, which could still surprise: temperatures will be between 4 and 16 degrees in the morning and between 12 and 21 in the afternoon. These forecasts have yet to be confirmed, but they remain the majority option.
